My hero Zach...
Today when I picked the boys up from daycare, Zach asked if we could go to the library (which is around the corner from my house). I said yes so on the way we were. We had only been there for about 5 minutes and my neighbor Lee called and said she had just gotten home and her front door was standing open and she did not know why, so could I come over so we could walk the house together and make sure there were no boogey men. Of course we were on our way home. On the way there I had to explain to the boys why we were going home so soon. Zach being the sweetest boy ever said to me, "when we get there, I want you and Lee to stay in the car and I will go in and check it out and make sure no one is in there." How cute is that boy. Protecting his mom and lady friend Lee. My hero.

Winter Wonderland!
We didn't get snow forever and now we can't get it to stop. It has been snowing at my house since last night.

The Thing.
Have you seen the movie "Fantastic Four"? Among the many costumes that the boys have, there is The Thing. The Thing costume comes out quite frequently. The fun part about The Thing is the hands that are huge and make noise upon impact. This is what happens when The Thing FINALLY sits down. He crashes.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Haircuts.
I took the boys to get haircuts today at this place that specializes in kids cuts. Sam has been trying to grow his hair out so he could go get a cut there ever since Zach went there one time in the summer. They have the fun chairs to sit in and let you play games or watch a movie while getting your hair cut. Anyways, the lady asked Sam what kind of cut did he want and he responded "MOHAWK". He has such a opinion on everything. He told her exactly what he wanted and how he wanted the gel put in his hair so it would "stick up right". My sweet Zach just wanted a "really nice cut" that he could make look nice when he wanted and could spike up when he wanted. They are both so different sometimes but you can be sure that they both wanted the blue paint in their hair that we bought after at Target. It is really cool you know. I have a little in my hair too!

Bolt.
Chris an I took the boys along with Sam's girlfriend Amber to the movies to see Bolt in 3D. Did you know that it IS possible to get nauseous watching a movie in 3D? I did not know that before but I do now. I had to leave the movie to go throw up. Sad for me. It sounded like a really cute movie but I was unable to watch it after that. I had to sit with my eyes closed or just stare at Chris.

Born to shop!
A couple of days ago, we took the boys shopping while in Park City. Both of the boys are seriously touched with the "Shopping" gene. Most kids do not want to try things on. My children not only try things on, they would love to wear any new items immeditely. We left the bags in the car for a day while still away from home. When we did get home, I was unpacking stuff and doing laundry. Sam could not wait for anything. He is running around right now in new clothes that have not yet been washed and are slightly too big. He doesn't care. He will wear them until I make him take it off to wash.

The Naughty One
Samson is living on the edge these days. If you look at his belly, you will see the PERMANENT black Marks a lot on it. Not only did he write on himself, (front and back) he also made smiley faces on the window in his bedroom, his window sill, a bunch of his toys, Zachs and his own clothing, towels and his BRAND NEW BED! I could of beat the crap out of him. It is a good thing he is so damn cute or I would have to drop him off somewhere. Not sure where, but just away.

Tagged - 6 Random things about me.
#1 - I wish I was more articulate in my speech.
#2 - When I dream, I am thin and HOT!
#3 - I wish I was not so obnoxious sometimes. I try to curb it but eventually in almost all situations it just spills out. Sorry
#4 - I love super nachos from Rancheritos even though they make my tummy hurt and I always regret it later.
#5 - There are moments when I look at my children and my heart is so overwhelmed with love that I cannot even begin to describe how I feel. It makes me want to just hold them in my arms and never move. Then other times when they are naughty and I want to spank them but whenever I do actually follow through and spank them I feel so guilty that its not worth it. What can I say, I am a sucker for a cute face!
#6 - I am so amazed at my sisters and all of the abilities that they possess, and I wonder how we could have grown up in the same house and I carry none of those abilities.
I don't remember all of the rules that came with this tagging so this is as far as I am taking it!

Life Changing Developments.
I am not sure how many of you are aware, but this is the first time in my 37 years that I voted for the presidential elections. I guess I finally felt like it was time to step up and try to take as much control as I really could in that area. To be a part of such an amazing event is almost breathtaking. A Black Man has been voted into the White House. What a wonderful accomplishment that I feel like this moment has brought to our whole country. It will definitely be a long and hard road for him to overcome all of the adversity that will be thrown his way in the future. But for right here, right now, I am proud to have been a part of this journey and support him all the way!

Rocking the Vote!
So Chris went to rock the vote today (I voted early last week) and took Samson with him. When they were done Sam got all irritated because he thought Chris had said "We are going BOATING" not "voting." How funny is that kid!

ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS!
Sam was running around the family room and kitchen slamming his fist into his palm and was saying "rocker, roger, pager!" Chris and I looked at eachother and said "WHAT?" He was trying to play the rock, paper, scissors game. He said his friend told him how to play. How funny is that kid!?!

Zachary's 2nd football game.
Zach had his 2nd football game tonight. The other team kicked the ball first and Zach picked it up and ran for the first touchdown of the game. I got it all on film but no still pics. He is doing so awesome. He is way more aggressive then I ever thought he would be. I am very proud of that cute kid!
